Red and Sunny

Smart Spookin, AKA “Red,” and Most Likely Sunup, AKA “Sunny,” are two very special geldings who belong to Maeve Sharkey and her parents. Now 18 and 25 years old, respectively, they have spent a lifetime with Maeve’s family, and are certainly not going anywhere. They live the spoiled life together, probably reminiscing about all the sweet, little horse-crazed girls they taught how to ride and show. As horse owners, we consider ourselves very lucky to be able to care for our first four legged teachers for the rest of their days. Maeve and her family are no exceptions. In fact, part of the reason I was asked to commemorate Red and Sunny on camera is so Maeve’s mother can decorate her house with their portraits.
