Paulette and Buttercup

Another sweet photo session that reminds me why I love what I do. Paulette has owned Buttercup since she was a foal. They share a beautiful connection, but after a lifetime together Buttercup is sadly nearing the end of her days. Paulette’s daughter, Lauren, purchased a gift certificate so Paulette could have photos taken for the first time ever with her special mare 🌿 I couldn’t be more honored to have captured some memories for Paulette while Buttercup is still here. Of course, we took a couple photos of the golden girl herself 💛

I’m a firm believer that that every rider deserves to have photos with their favorite horses, especially outside of the show arena, to capture their unique partnership and connection ❤️
